I’m Chris Froneman — a Registered Architect currently working as a Design Director at Qiddiya Investment Company, where I lead and contribute to large-scale, multi-sector developments spanning residential, hospitality, retail, and entertainment.
 
With over 20 years of experience across Africa, the Middle East, and New Zealand, I’ve collaborated with developers, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to shape projects from the earliest stages. I’m particularly drawn to the front end of design—when direction matters most—where I help turn early potential into clear, strategic, and compelling concepts that teams, clients, and authorities can align behind.
 
My focus is on clarity, momentum, and protecting the integrity of an idea as it moves through increasingly complex project phases. I place a strong emphasis on communication—using narrative, sketches, and visual language to make design intent not just understood, but felt and carried forward with conviction.
 
Working across regions, I bring both global perspective and local sensitivity, along with a continuous creative rhythm that supports teams across time zones.
